Eusebius is called the "Father of Church History" but he clearly discredits his own works in this statement.
Eusebius was a piece of work. He was Constantine's propaganda minister who actually had a great hand in shaping post-Apostles Christianity.

I forgot to mention that Eusebius is responsible for the "Josephus" reference Christians use to say that there is a secular historical reference to Jesus. Since Eusebius is a self-proclaimed deceiver for religion, and there are many arguments against authenticity, Christianity is left with no evidence of Jesus.
