athiests , will you pray for God in such situation
imagine yourself in the middle of the see , then comes a stormy wind and the waves come to you from all sides, and you thought you are being overwhelmed
will you pray God to save you in such situation ?

Been there, done that, and the answer is no. Instead of relying on myth I make sure the liferaft, survival suits and portable VHF radio are ready, and my crew is prepared.....Nobody has time to waste with foolishness like praying. |

I won't call out to a deity on my deathbed, either. I've been faced with that situation before and still had no urge to believe in any god.

Why waste precious time on such a useless pursuit? I'd be working hard to live through the situation and would be thinking of my kids while doing it.
