Chill,
As my Dad used to tell me when he was alive, the older I become the more I realize how much I don't know. Give it a break, demonstrate some humility, we are all searching.

Oh please Campbell, tell me you didn't say that. This is decending into the territory of Dumb and Dumber. I'm not trying to insult you but when you make those kinds of statements it makes people wince.
In 2002 a survey commissioned by the reform movement, showed that 53% of Israelis surveyed favored the rebuilding of the third Temple on the Temple Mount. Back in 1983, only 18.3% favored building the temple.
I am sure the Temple mount folk poll was really objective.
The institute holds lectures in all parts of the country, and is well known in many countries. Approximately one hundred thousand people visit the institute and its exhibitions, and they come to learn about the commandments and laws connected with the Temple, with the hope that one day the government of Israel will allow the building of the Temple, and reinstitute the sacrificial system as it was in days past.

And it is a faleshood if you believe there is only a fringe group that desires this. And it appears you are the one ignoring the facts.

Well, as usual you come here with your personal opinion, I come here with facts. I believe there are actually two arks. One was to house the broken stone tablets that Moses broke, and the other was to house the one's Mosese did not break. There are a lot of things going on with the Ark these days, especially when the time of the temple rebuilding nears. One of the arks is believed to be in Ethiopia, the link below speaks of that one.
I recall seeing an interview with the person who had watched over the Ark in Ethiopia the better part of his life. He was a very Old man, and talked about the strangeness of the Ark. I found it hard to believe he was making all of this up to protect a lie.
Then there is Dr. Jones who inspired the movie "Indiana Jones" who believes he now knows where the ark is. The link below speaks of his discovery. In either case, I have heard that Israel now actually has the Ark, and will place it in the temple after it is rebuilt. Some of these stories have come from some very important and responsible people in Israel.

Yup the Ark is in a number of undisclosed locations in Ethiopia.
Your "facts" do not float I am afraid.
The ark location in Ethiopia is not undisclosed at all. You can actually go to the building it is housed in. And it is guarded by a monk who lives in that building his who life, and never leaves it until he is to old to watch it anymore. And then a new monk is appointed to take his place. And that is the way it has been for years. Not even the president of Ethiopia is allowed to enter the building. Consider the link below. And I believe there are actually two Arks. One to house the stone tablets Moses broke, and the other to house the tablets he did not. And I believe these arks me be kept at two seperate locations.
