Eye-witness accounts are only considered valid to a judge and jury if they come from unbiased un-involved witnesses. Even then, a good telephone recording, video or security camera record helps a lot. If The Larger Congregation of The Church Of The Unsustainable Truth Seekers heads up a mountain-climbing expedition to "prove" that the Mt. Ararat Basalt outcropping is, in fact, an old boat, can we reasonably believe them? How much is at stake for them even before they leave this country? Their fellow believers will be saying "Please please prove it's the Ark!" or "Don't let those scientists with you disprove anything!"

In your mind, is there ANY possibility that the Xtian contingent might just come back with a slightly biased account? On behalf of scientists everywhere (we at least openly admit our limitations...) I'll happily admit to the possibility that the science side might come back with an incorrect assessment, but then there'd be another follow-up expedition to re-test those scientists' questioned findings. That's called reproducibility and peer-review, and it's conspicuously ABSENT in ALL Christian so-called investigations and eye-witness accounts. If that were even a bit more prevalent, we'd believe more of what you say, but unfortunately there's the past consistency of your researchers' bad methodologies. For decades! After a while, you guys have sorta gotten a bad research "rep", y'know?

That's where honest science comes in (which, BTW, is the most common peer-reviewed kind, just to keep everything honest, you understand). When the Turkish government finally allows some open-minded researchers up there, in the summer, with no ice to deal with or obscure anything, and with good HD videos and close-up photos to completely validate or refute it, you, my friend, will be in for a big dissapointment. But if I'm wrong, I'll EAT a complete Holy Bible. Without any Tabasco Sauce!

Unfortunately, the standard Xtian response to even a fully accredited and photo-validated rejection of this Basalt Ark would be to denegrate the findings, denegrate scientists, denegrate even your mother if need be. Anything but acceptance of the truth. How dangerously sad.

This prophecy was never fulfilled in the past, it will be fulfilled in the future. Also, you can have the rapture and easily have this prophecy fulfilled. And the reason I say that, is because after the rapture you will still have 1,000 years of human existance here on the earth. And I might add, much of the prophecies in the Bible will be fulfilled, after the rapture.

In fact, your whole argument falls flat as the supposed rebuilding is to take place by those who would worship the antichrist or his hologram in the new temple - so how is God going to assist that which opposes Him or His will?

Furthermore, the rebuilding has to coincide with the tribulation hence if a mid tribber, it will need to be erected in 3.5 years.
