'Lord' Maitreya Spot Adds Appearing on CNN, Etc

A few days ago a couple of friends told me how they've been seeing TV ads for the immenent advent of 'Lord' Maitreya, so-called World Teacher, complete with the accompanyment of a great light appearing day and night in the sky (rented space on a geosynchronous satellite??).

They saw the Ads on CNN and said that apparently "the Dallas metro area was blitzed by advertising on local affiliates FOX, NBC ABC CBS a few days ago".

Lord Maitreya was always one of those things I've had a hard time swallowing; that such an individual would be used to trot out a new world religion. Watching a couple of the Ads (linked below) taken from YouTube, they make a very seductively packaged case for this 'coming event'.
