It started with Danimae asking a question and ptsum following up on my answer.
Perhaps you should alert on them for hijacking the thread?

Hey, I thought my answer was an intelligent one and designed to make you think of different scenarios....

You've got a choice which side you wind up on.

Let's be honest. You don't actually know what "brings him glory" or what "shows his holiness".
It's all conjecture based on what you choose to believe combined with the culture and region of the planet in which you were raised / culturally indoctrinated.
In my own journey, I have been exposed first hand to enough from the other side to know that none of us know jack squat about what it's actually like.
A spoonful of humble pie would be in order, kdbrich.

It demonstrates his sovereignty to punish the evil-doer, but it also demonstrates his goodness by saving some in spite of it.

Wow, now I'm an evil doer and I have never once spent a day in jail for doing anything evil, I did get a speeding ticket once but that was not by design.....

No more evil than I am. I'm an evil wretch in comparison to God's standard--just like you and everyone else.

Again, you have no idea what God does or does not do, or whether anyone is ever punished. I have been taught that there is no judgment, there is no punishment, only a chance at reflection of one's life and an ability to move on.
Who's right? Who knows?
You have chosen to adhere to an archaic notion of God as some punisher who protects only a handful. That could be something in your psychology that needs fulfilling, not a universal truth.
Again, humble yourself before the Lord and stay on topic. There is much we do not know.

I am far from an evil wretch. In fact, I am evolving to the Godhead, kdbrich. I have chosen to be who I am in this incarnation and am perfect just the way I am. So are you. Is a 3 year old an evil wretch because she is not yet a fully mature 20 year old?
No.
Your fear-based dogma is not necessarily true.
Be humble before your Lord. There is much we do not know.

And you're infallibly declaring that how?

My point is that you do not know and I do not know.
You are confusing your proclamations of infallibility with my pointing out what Christ has taught me directly.
I even said I don't know who is right. I am simply asking you to come down off your pearch and:
Be humble before your Lord. There is much we do not know.
When you free yourself of all preconceived notions of how the world works, only then will you be open to receive truth.
