Psalm 110:1 Correct translation;

Of David a Psalm. The Lord said to my master, "Sit thou at my right hand, until I make your enemies a footstool at your feet."

Incorrect Christian transation;

A Psalm of David. The Lord said to my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.

The Hebrew word in question here is l'adonee, which means to my master. It is only used for the profane, never the sacred. In other words, it would and has never been used to describe G-d.

Here is another verse in which the exact same Hebrew word l'adonee appears and the church translated it correctly.

Genesis 24:54

In Psalm 110:1 the church tried to make it appear as though it is speaking about G-d talking to Jesus. Again, they gave it a Christological meaning that is not there.

Isaiah 8:23 - 9:3 (Christian bible it is Isaiah 9:1-4) Correct translation;

For there is no weariness to the one who oppresses her; like the first time, he dealt mildly, (exiling only) the land of Zebulun and the land of Naphatali, and the last one he dealt harshly; the way of the sea, and the other side of the Jordan, the Galilee of the nations. The people who walked in darkness, have seen a great light; those who dwell in the land of the shadow of death, light has shone upon them. You have aggrandized this nation; you have magnified the joy for them; they have rejoiced over You like the joy of the harvest, as they rejoice when they divide spoils. For, the yoke of his burden and the staff of his shoulder, the rod of the one who oppressed him have You broken, as on the day of Midian.

Incorrect Christian translation;

Nevertheless, there will be no more gloom for those who were in distress. In the past he humbled the land of Zebulun and the land of Naphatali, but in the future he will honor Galilee of the Gentiles, by the way of the sea, along the Jordan. The people who walk in darkness will see a great light; those who live in a dark land, the light will shine on them. Thou shalt mulitiply the nation, thou shalt increase their gladness; they will be glad in Thy presence as with the gladness of harvest, as men rejoice when they divide the spoil. For Thou shalt break the yoke of their burden and the staff on their shoulder, the rod of their oppressor, as at the battle of Midian.

Seriously, you have got to be kidding here. This entire passage is speaking of something that already happened. The church changed the tense of the Hebrew to make it appear to be talking about the future. I mean really, Christians truely believe that they know what the Hebrew says, when they rely on translators, and they think the Jews have been wrong all along!! It is our language and our book, we wrote it!!

Oh yeah, the church completely changed the last phrase from "as on the day of Midian" to " as at the battle of Midian". Absolutely incredible!
