If heaven exists, where is it? where is hell?
obviously nobody knows the answer to this question provided evidence. but tell me where you 'imagine' it would be.

What was the point in asking--so that if anyone said they thought heaven was "up in the sky" they could be ridiculed?

The Bible gives a description of heaven and even gives the dimensions and what it's made of (stuff like gold and precious gems) and it sounds like it's supposed to be on the earth itself.

well, i'd like to know where it would be if someone believes in it.
given the fact that we can look "up in the sky" and beyond using powerful telescopses, yes, that would sound ridiculous. is that what you're suggesting?
if not, i would like to know where people think heaven or hell is/will be. it's a simple question. not trying to trap anyone. just trying to find out what people believe. |

Heaven and Hell are both within you and your mind.
You create your own heaven and you create your own hell. Those two places are not physical, they are basically a definition of your own behavior, thoughts, how you treat others, and perception of your own self. Being miserable will send you to Hell, being happy and positive might take you to Heaven.
