For the Movers & Shakers
What do you do when fears and doubts start to creep in and it begins to stagnate you? What do you do when you start to lose courage in yourself? (All answers are welcomed).

Honestly, I go to the gym. There's nothing three hours of sweat cannot achieve. I come out a refreshed dude, like mind getting reset to 000 on an electronic counter
It resets everything from professional anger, social troubles, family problems and the rest.

I guess there is nothing that can't be fixed, or if it can't then it meant to be. No point of fearing things or dwell on something you can't fix. Cry, swear, hit things if you need to, but then move on with your life and do something productive.

Just a couple of hours of splitting wood w/a maul, or sledge and wedge, will cure that right up.

The only thing you have to fear is fear itself. Fear is not an attribute you want to carry. Doubt is letting that fear control you.
I don't carry those however, when I did quite a long time ago, I would listen to some Pink Floyd! Always got me going! Still a Floyd fan, however. (Not the David Gilmore "Floyd" , but Roger Waters "Floyd")
Going to the gym is also a great way but 3 hours?! That's quite a lot unless you're competing. (All in fun and not intended for anything negative).

I suppose by now you have gotten the gist, do something! Sitting around stewing on it doesn't help a bit.

I return back to my base, will go running, or biking till I am exhausted, and than rethink my direction. If that doesn’t solve the issue I will go to people I respect and listen to their advice. No one path is the correct path for all problems and at times the problem which seems similar for one person will need to be treated differently by another person. The bottom line is there are a million paths, and they will all end at the same point only a few will be easier with less bull to push out of the way. Those are the paths you have to search out.

Hmm, fortunately I've only been in a really bad slump like that a couple times in my life. The last time I got into a really low mood like that was about three years ago. I "fixed" it by taking my tools into my kitchen and gutting it down to the studs. Then I spent about four months renovating it all by myself, and wonder of wonders when I was done, I had a fantastic new kitchen and the mood was gone.
