The forum is a place all people are welcome to equally participate in the exchange of both facts and opinions. An opinion by definition from Webster's New American Dictionary is (1)a belief stronger than impression and less strong than positive knowledge: (2)Judgement: (3)a formal statement by an expert after careful study. This forum on religion is functioning the way it should by definition. U r welcome to u opinion as is anyone else. Where is the discrimination in that? There is no need to be upset at the participants on this forum for equally participating. "Can't we all just get along"

Come to think of it, there are lots of books showing how atheists/humanists are causing an erosion in values, society, culture - everything. At this rate, there won't be anything left to poison.

I thought a forum was supposed to be about sharing opinions, not trying to outdo the other... oh, and I thought spirituality was kind of the same way... I guess I'm under the wrong impression that we are supposed to use our spiritual capabilities to love God and have compassion to others, not to use it a sling shot loaded with dogma and self-righteousness... some of you people should seriously re-examine your stance, I think...
why do people focus so much on separatism? Being gay-- choice or born that way? who cares? If it doesn't effect you, then why go on about it.. if you don't believe its "right" then don't participate... If someone were to say "I hate hearing people say the blessing before they eat out in public", mine and most's reactions would be something along the lines of "well then you don't have to pray if you don't want, but this is what I do, and I'm not hurting anyone" Why don't we treat sprituality the same way? Let people believe how they want and unless they are performing ritualistic sacrafices on you or your kids, then just do what you think is right, and let God take care of the rest... Not to force my spirituality down anyone's throat, but Jesus did teach us to turn the other cheek and forgive... He also accepted people that were not socially acceptable during his time, something that Mainstream America has yet to obtain despite our self-proclaimed "Christian" ways...

We can talk a lot about many things; but the fact is, the moment someone "hears" an extremely opposing opinion they attack it! This is immoral!
I am a fundamentalist for example. I can talk about this or that with people about their beliefs but they refuse to let me describe mine! Is this not one-sided? If this is one-sided then why not try listening?

I came here to talk with people not to be attacked!
But if one is going to say something to me about what they believe, then allow me the same curtesy to say what I believe!

The best thing about this forum is that most of the time we know when to take a break from a discussion that has turned extremely bitter or personal. Usually it is a "comic relief break", with good jokes and a little fun teasing each other. Then it is back to the purpose of this forum to exchange, discuss and debate, and to learn We welcome new posters, are ninterested in their thoughts and opinions.

Why are you a fundamentalist- not belieiving in the evidence of science and believing that a donkey and a snake spoke? I find that hilarious and dreadful!
