Hello Sass-sqawtch.
Yes, it is amazing how many people I've discussed the bible with, actually believe that the bible is literal truth. How they can believe some of the stories has always amazed me. I'm sure that if the bible said that Jonah swallowed the whale, they would believe it!

Not to be annoying, sassqawtch, but it's Mt. Ararat. Thanks for the humorous post.

Let's look for evidence of JC. Outside of Christianity, there is no contemporaneous evidence whatsoever for him. As the saying goes, 'If there is no evidence that there is an elephant living in your house, why would you believe that there is'? I contend that JC, Son of God is a myth!
Use that for an excuse for why you never accepted Him when you stand before Him in judgement

I'm not threatening you, or trying to frighten you, but the fact is that you will face Jesus Christ, Son of God, whom you so friviously refer to as J.C. Please give some thought to making Him your Savior instead of your Judge.

I don't believe we are supposed to be able to prove that Jesus is the Son, I believe that is what is meant by "faith".
I believe you are correct!!

But lets cut to the quick. Of all my years at Baptists churches the hardest were when us youngins sat around discussing the probability of Noah; and it never did get any better; the story I mean. Many of us simply swallowed our questions and dared not hammer our pastor with them-or each other. The facts: given... the rain time (enormous) and the amount of rain fall (covers every mountain): we never could get around Mt. Everest. 5 and a half miles high! One pastor told me it wasn't there then. 60 Million year old mountain wasn't there?! Okay. But then there was all this water for a flood (when a bad cold would have wiped out everyone just as easy). Now it doesn't take a rocket doctor to figure out that that much fresh water would have killed every living thing in the ocean; including kelp beds and coral reefs. The sea would have been a cess pool. Given also that Noah landed on Mt. Arafat but didn't know it for three days. Why? Didn't he know the boat wasn't rocking? I know...a mute point. But then again, he lands on Arafat after the water receeded. That's a long drop in water from five and a half miles to Arafat's height. Then there was the conveninet "curse of Ham" which at times has been used by some members of Abrahamic religions to justify racism. I know, that was a long time ago.....right? In short, many Bible students that I knew conceeded to the fact that Noah's story was based on a square, flat earth theory. They just didn't tell anyone but their closest friends.
let's see....looking....looking....nope....not sure what this has to do with Jesus...but....thanks for taking the time to post.
