Yes, it is amazing how many people I've discussed the bible with, actually believe that the bible is literal truth. How they can believe some of the stories has always amazed me. I'm sure that if the bible said that Jonah swallowed the whale, they would believe it!

Let's look for evidence of JC. Outside of Christianity, there is no contemporaneous evidence whatsoever for him. As the saying goes, 'If there is no evidence that there is an elephant living in your house, why would you believe that there is'? I contend that JC, Son of God is a myth!

But then again, he lands on Arafat after the water receeded. That's a long drop in water from five and a half miles to Arafat's height. Then there was the conveninet "curse of Ham" which at times has been used by some members of Abrahamic religions to justify racism. I know, that was a long time ago.....right? In short, many Bible students that I knew conceeded to the fact that Noah's story was based on a square, flat earth theory. They just didn't tell anyone but their closest friends.
