Thanks for your input. It's a shame that people feel the need to go to such lengths to obtain an unnatural high by smoking weed, or injecting themselves or snorting any other sick substance, but you know that is their free will choice. And if that's how people want to live, so be it.

I do not feel that type of need. I'd rather be high on God's Divine Love.
I think you both missed the analogy wrt to weed. When I smoked it waaaay back when, the escape from reality it gave not to mention an effective pain killer which is why I started using it in the first place is exactly what belief in invisible entities is - ESCAPISM

I tried the weed first and then the invisible guy later for 30 years, conclusion, weed was guaranteed to deliver whereas the invisible guy just remained invisible. I kicked the weed habit after 6 months but it took me much longer to get off the fairy tale stuff.

Going back on weed or the fairy dust, is highly unlikely for me as I have now found peace with the world and all its evils the church tried to portray, I kinda like my own company and do not miss the invisible friend as he never existed outside of my imagination. Yes I too imagined the anointing because I wanted it to be real.

I guess the rastafarians have the best of both delusions

I didn't miss the analogy, I can assure you.

If you are happy and content in your world, all the best to you.

I can only guess why you are posting on this thread. Either you want to know something new, or you are just here as an antagonizer playing Devil's Advocate. If that is your intention and you aren't striving for something greater than yourself, well, then why are wasting your time here, when you could be outside playing golf or having some other amusement and communing with nature.

Reverend1111 has already shared all there is on divine love and has won no new converts to my knowledge.

Why I post here, loyal opposition I guess. Golf, tried that too, chasing a lil' white ball around simply to build up a thirst for the 19th hole, waste of time, just take mulligans on all 18 holes and wet the whistle instead

Is Anyone Here Actually Searching for Something New to Believe In?
That question is rather strange when you stop and think about it. That would seem to suggest that you're asking us if we're not satisfied with what we believe now and if we'd like to replace it with something different. It also implies that our current beliefs must not be true, otherwise there wouldn't be any need to find new beliefs. I don't believe in God and unless he stops by the house and explains why he's been hiding for all these years I don't see the necessity to search for him.

This forum's religion and philosophy, not just religion. You gotta take the unbelievers with the believers, whether you like it or not.

Did I say I didn't like it?

I was wondering why they are here.

And why are you here?

Well, there's nothing like reinforcements to seal the deal. Only kidding. Actually, we're not here to convert anyone. We are here to share what we know and that's all. The rest is up to you and whoever reads these posts.

Do you realize the fact that because you have actually read our posts, while you do not believe one iota of it, our words are now imprinted in your memory cells and when you pass over into the next world, as you begin to have a soul awakening, these words will appear right before your very own eyes and, of course, even then you may not believe it. But that's okay. It's your life and your choice.

Oh, so you just stopped by, too, while passing the time away then? That's fine.

You don't have to believe in God or anything else if that suits your world and you're comfortable with it.

I look at it this way, if people want to sit and be miserable wallowing in their own cynicism, okay by me.

But if there are those of you out there who are really seeking for something to help you get out of the muck... I'm just presenting another alternative.

And you know the old saying, don't knock it until you've tried it... well, the same can be said with what I am sharing here.

And what am I sharing for any sincere seeker who isn't satisfied with any organized religion? Five of the most important words in all the universe... Pray for God's Divine Love.

Bolded bits are debatable...

If you feel closer to God when you smoke pot... well, more power to you.

Inasmuch as I don't really know why it is used for medical purposes, other than to numb pain... this can be accomplished simply by asking with all of the sincerity of your soul for God to remove it.

The other day I was experiencing a pretty bad headache, so I asked God to show me what was on my mind. I closed my eyes and all these visions came to me and as I saw what I was thinking. Those thoughts were then released and my headache went away.
