Personally, if someone is aspiring to convince me of their superior mental method for deducing the age of the universe and/or Earth, it would do a lot of good to spell the word "controversy" correctly.

Perhaps it's the wrong approach but I have such a difficult time trusting the claims of someone who feels an idea is controversial when they cannot even spell the word "controversy" or properly capitalize the name of their thread.

If the most simplistic of details are so easily overlooked, how can I even begin to trust this person as to having properly analyzed any data - scientific or not - with proper scrutiny?

I find the need of old earth debate in strife with the young age earth, as totally dangerous to the speading of the gospel and what Christians are called to do in the earth by the Great Commision for Salvation to the Lord God...I find the creation of Adam and Eve as more important to the knowledge of Jesus Christ..... And Adam as the first to have a relationship with the Lord God and the creation injustices as out of the will of God and his purposes in the earth.........Christianity will never win the debate on creation vs.evolution until Jesus Comes and end this Age and gives us a New Age because of the unforgivness walls that are holding Heaven back......

I though creationists didn't trust science. How can you hope for science to discover time travel on one hand while saying they are not to be trusted on the other hand?

What, if anything, is a Mitochondrial Eve?

By all means, you can read all about the frequently debunked crap that Creationists put up.

This is a common talking point in the religion forum for obvious reasons. It is not a debate but a continuance of ignorance.
Again....

These are all links to the same site.

Any secondary sources that verify these claims?
