There's nothing to BELIEVE. It's a fact. To say one doesn't believe is like saying that the sun is not in the sky.

Having said that, I do believe that God's work is IN the evolution of life, creating, creating, creating.

People need to get a bigger view of God.

It is not a question of believing. Modern science and the scientific method as we know it developed in the middle ages to explain nature without referring to a Creator. One is science, the other theology or philosophy. They are not incompatable.

Science is a marvelous thing. But using evolution to discredit God is just wrong. I have not seen a proof of evolution particularly of man or animal. So I don\'t buy their theory.

Oh, yes. It is a wonderful process...instigated by God.

"Science" and the brilliant people that work in the various fields have done extensive research and figured out quite a bit about it. Note: Search posts by "rifleman" for excellent explanations, that are very informative, in layman's terms, and easy to understand.

MOF, "science" is not only figuring out about the evolution of life, but of the inanimate matter in the universe and how it organized after the Big Bang. Gods creations and initiated processes are very complicated and intricate...so it requires rigorous and exacting study to figure out what He did...but amazingly, they are doing it.

There are literally rows of volumes on the subject in any library, if one is so inclined. And a Google of "evolution" produces over 40 MILLION sites...enjoy!

No, I don't believe in evolution, but I fully accept the fact that it happened and will continue to happen as long as there is life. Evolution is not some faith-based belief system. It is science.

RAFIUS!! My snark mentor! Where were ya Dude! Just noticed you were back.

I have bad news for ya...just yesterday "sanspeur" titled me "king of snark of CD". I had been aspiring to that for some time. Of course I only attribute it to your absence. Just know that I realize it is only by default and I will willingly, though reluctantly, relinquish the title now that you are back...especially the way you have returned with renewed vigor...and demonstrating your prowess with great snark like the above example. You are a true Snarkmaster.

Why, do we not have enough hatred, wars, intolerance, all based on whose god is the right one?
