Couldn't agree more. But not just religion, their followers. The endless excuses for the horrors the Bible god committed and allows to still happen just amazes and disgusts me. I mean they believe this stuff, how do they know that if it is a real ( which I know it isnt but still) that they are not being scammed by some evil God that really enjoys watching the pain and evil being done?

One of every six humans on the planet(more then 900,000,000) are starving to death or suffering from malnutrition. If there was a god and if he gave a damn he would feed them or at least have them fed. If there is a god he's a loser who enjoys seeing people, mostly children suffer. That's a no brainer.
How do you know this Satan is not the one who wrote the bible and is pulling a huge scam now?
If you read the Bible you will see how it speaks so well of Gods great qualities. Satan wouldn't like that. Satan also wouldn't want to give you all that knowledge of his own qualities, they aren't impressive to good people.

In the Garden of Eden the challenge of Gods right to rule was put to a test. Satan thought he could rule. Adam thought he could rule himself. Well, it's been thousands of years and the answer is, only God can rule us.
God has set back and let mankind prove that to themselves. Not working too well is it? Like you said, there are 9,000,000,000 starving to death. Man has done that to those people. God provided all kinds of food. Man hasn't done right by the people on this Earth. Our own goverment doesn't do right by us. And the list of unfairness, pain and suffering goes on.

If god is so all powerful, why is there a just-as-powerful satan?
