YouTube - Does God Exist?

Did not know where to place this since it is scientific but the title of the video made it seem like it should go in here.

Never knew the human eye was so advanced Just a question the video implies and makes one ask if the human eye just happened to be so strong or was there some influence on its development.

The video is spreading one of the lies of ID. They're ignoring the fact that the eye didn't come into existence in the same complexity now as it was when life first began. The eye started out simple then over thousands upon thousands of years became more and more complex. No need to inject the belief of god as an explanation.

Isn't this such a common theme among Christians trying to project these types of things..."injecting god" into everything that they don't understand and can't explain? Its highly arrogant.

Default I dooon't beleieeeve it!

Still dragging in the old Darwin and the eye? Don't these people keep up to date?

"Even Answers in Genesis, the most influential YEC web site, has advised their followers not to use the Darwin eye quote because "Citing his [Darwin's] statement at face value is subtly out of context". ..." (1)
The incomprehensible creationist - the Darwin "eye" quote revisited
Claim CA113.1:
Charles Darwin acknowledged the inadequacy of evolution when he wrote,
To suppose that the eye, with all its inimitable contrivances for adjusting the focus to different distances, for admitting different amounts of light, and for the correction of spherical and chromatic aberration, could have been formed by natural selection, seems, I freely confess, absurd in the highest possible degree. (Darwin 1872)
Source:
Huse, Scott. 1996. The Collapse of Evolution. Grand Rapids: Baker Book House, p. 73.
Response:
The quote is taken out of context. Darwin answered the seeming problem he introduced. The paragraph continues,
Yet reason tells me, that if numerous gradations from a perfect and complex eye to one very imperfect and simple, each grade being useful to its possessor, can be shown to exist; if further, the eye does vary ever so slightly, and the variations be inherited, which is certainly the case;
CA113.1: Evolution of the eye.

That took me two minutes. (and I do not use the headslap Icon overmuch)

(19) damage limitation! It's not 'subtle'; it's a blatant quotemining job.

....and then they accuse us of "taking scripture out of context".

The funny thing about the video is that it actually proves nothing.
For all of the effort put into making it, you have thought they would have at least been able to form an intelligent conclusion.

2000 years and change...still no proof of a god or gods.

If it takes a YouTube video to answer the question, then the question probably should never have been asked in the first place.
