I was just thinking about this and it seems that many celebrities or other famous people seem to claim to have become a born again christian when they get in trouble for x action. Case in point, the first time Lindsey Lohan got arrested for drugs, she said that she had become a born again christian in jail. Do you ever think that it's a rather overused cliche when a celebrity does this. It seems like a lot of them are just flapping their jaw.

That's because most of them are...it's all about their image and the lengths they will go to try and repair it once they screw it up.

The other was the celebrity who does something stupid and then says they're "going into therapy" about it. It's a bit like that book Erewhon where everything immoral or criminal was deemed an illness. Cheating on your wife or saying something racist is not necessarily an illness you can treat with therapy.

I don't even curse and I've ran afoul of the censor software. Like you can't say "qu**r", with e's rather than asterix, even if you're referring to an organization that uses the word or an old story that uses it to mean "odd." Also you can't say "c*m laude" or any of its variants. So I intentionally misspell it to say I graduated Magna Kum Laude.
