When American planes dropped the atomic bombs on Japan, they saved both American and Japanese lives in the long run. Yes they took out a couple hundred thousand but if there would have been an allied invasion they (the civilians and military)were ready to fight to the last man, woman and child. Which would have cost them millions of lives and hundred of thousand more allied military lives.

The Japanese were so brainwashed the women were ready to either fight or take thier own lives (and their children) before thinking about surrendering. This was proven on a couple outlying islands that we took, where the Japanese civilians were jumping off cliffs rather than be captured.

As for comparing to 9/11, no comparison, Those muslim nutcases were doing it for thier religious beliefs, after all it says in the koran that if someone will not except islam you are to kill them.. the bombs dorpped on Japan were for the survival of the world.

The never ending ignorance of waring over which imaginary friend is the right one must stop, or it will end civilization when the next loon achieves control of a military or weapon that enables it. Bush tried, he was just too stupid to have much success.
