I had a therapist once named Dr. Friend - now that's a name that could bring you business, especially in the mental health field! Oh, and I think the people at that school need to get a life, if they're concerned about student's names... puuuuulease.

I don't know if you guys in the USA have ever heard of a cartoon character on the BBC in the 1950's called Captain Pugwash. He was a pirate and the programme ran for many years until someone pointed out that the names of the characters had 'double meanings'. There were many red faces at the BBC when they looked at the names of the characters in the cartoon:

"Seaman Stains".
"Master Bates".
"Simon the Bar Steward".
and..........."Roger the Cabinboy".

Whoops!!

Moon Unit Zappa is still my favorite weird name of all time. Her brother Dweezil Zappa is not far behind. What's strange about this is that it's their last name, not the first. I would definitely have my name legally changed if it was me.
