I think it hasn't been bad since 9/11. Is that followed by my belief? I'm not an engineer; so I cannot be realizing of sin for it.

In today's society you can find someone that will be highly offended at anything, from "good morning" or "thank you" to the far end of the spectrum.

That was their goal when they got out of bed that morning, and there is no way they will be denied being offended.

"Sheesh", what is wrong with saying that???? I don't consider it to mean derogatory things to God or /Christ; I think that it recognizes that I am always thinking about him in my thoughts!

"Sheesh!" it's late....

bye
My grandmother used to say cripes and one time someone was appalled because they thought she was saying christ.....

Sheesh or Sheez is an exclamation meaning Jesus Christ? Seriously? I did not know that. I use it all the time, well, just because I do. Never realized that is was the same as saying 'shoot', 'dang/darn' or 'Cheese and Rice' <-- the dumbest of all of them IMO. Now that I know that (whether it's true or not), I will continue to use it anyway.

I've been using it as an expression of exasperation with others. As in...

" You really believe in Noah's Ark? Sheesh!"

Gawd. We apparently really do have too much time on our hands here!
