The crap I read on here really makes me wonder about the education some people are getting ( or not getting)

Here is some light reading for ya
PhysOrg Mobile: Why do the majority of people never get cancer?

Why don't we all get cancer? : Cancer Research UK : CancerHelp UK

They don't say it--because on one hand, they admit that they're honestly clueless about what causes it, but on the other hand, they make the claim that any number of things are LINKED to cancer.

That they may cause cancer. Or they may not. Which is all I claim about anything I don't know. God, ghosts, extraterrestrial life. I can neither confirm or deny it. I simply don't know. Science never wants to come out and just say, "I don't know."--they want to obfuscate what they are saying.

Clearly you didn't read the links it explains why some do and dont. They know what causes it. Please post your links that state scientists are clueless about it.

No I dont, I look at things objectively and do my research. PLEASE explain to me why doctors in the 1300's would lie about interviewing people that lived through the Black Death.

The links don't help--as I do not believe everything I read.

The fact of the matter is that they claim something or other is linked to cancer, but not everyone who does that thing will get cancer. I smoked over 20 years--never got cancer. I eat red meat and bacon. I've had saccharine in my sodas (I don't like it, but I've drunk it). I go out in the sunshine (except for the past four years...I work overnights now).

No cancer. If they knew what caused it, they would be able to prevent the cause.

Why wouldn't they? People lie for all sorts of reasons.

Besides they were ignorant, and believed many things that we no longer do.

WOW, sad really. Years of research, testing and you ignore it because you don't believe what you read. I take it you don't believe the bible then ( that would be a good thing)

We cant debate it if you don't have the facts, or are not willing to educate yourself in the topic.

Why would they? They were trying to learn experiences. They took care of these people and they lived, they wanted to document it. What about the black death do we no longer believe?

I don't believe anything I don't have personal experience with.

There's a whole Hell of a lot of things that I don't believe. (And, as I've never read the Bible, I have no idea whether I would believe any of it. If it's historical information, then there's no way I could have experienced it for myself, so I wouldn't have believed it.)
