The person's dead--nothing you do will change that. Dig a hole and pitch them in.
Or cremate them, if that's your thing.
I didn't go to my parents' funeral.
Why did they have a restraining order in force
Seriously though, we know you are an anti-social troll lashing out at every creature that comes within range (you have expressed that about your dogs also) so friends and social interaction with anyone is clearly not one of your strong points.

Oh come now, isn't that being just a bit self-righteous and judgmental (BTW, you aren't an "evangelist" by any chance are you...)?

My dogs? If my dogs attack me, or someone else, if they are aggressive, it is my duty as a RESPONSIBLE pet owner to put them down. If you believe in being irresponsible, then that's fine for you.

that's legal; but what if your spouse attacks you are or someone else? would you do the right thing? what would be your duty in that instance?
Those are called "memorials". And what exactly is the purpose of them? I don't even get the point of funerals, to be honest. The person's dead, let it go.
As a self-admitted sociopath, of course you don't "get it". Funerals are for the living, not the dead. As far as funerals go, they are not defined as being a religious ceremony, so get over it. A funeral is a funeral, religious or not.
Yes, a funeral is a funeral...a religious ceremony.
That's why they have priests officiate.
But they make NO logical sense. Defend the purpose of them logically, without appeals to emotion, which is useless.
Now you're being deliberately ignorant. There are millions of funerals every year where priests are nowhere to be found, nor any religious representative at all. A secular funeral is every bit as much a funeral as one with a religious theme.
