Really, you cannot explain how god came to be? He looks like a human?
I came from a union between my parents, perhaps you were made in a different way...It's all nonsense you know.
Your parents were also made in God's image. Why do you think when we die we will look like a human? Our spirits will not be human, we will be a spirit that looks like God.
Neither one of us has a final and complete explanation for "what came before that?"
You can't use that logic to prove an eternal God exists, when that same logic says it would be impossible for an eternal God to exist.
God is a SUPREME BEING. A Supreme Being can do anything. You say nothing can do anything. That makes no sense. The great minds that lived before us said that makes no sense, there must be a Spreme Being for all this to happen.
I have never heard believers say God came from nothing. We say God always was and always will be. He created us in His image. We came from Him and will return to Him.

One theory is that the universe always was, and always will be. Perhaps in different forms (singularity>>big bang>>current universe).

Well scientists are finding more galaxies. We are just a drop in our little world here. Humans find it hard to comprehend but that is because we are just human and not Supreme.
Your 'proofs' in no way, shape or form prove that the God of the Bible created us. The 'proofs' you have given might allow some to form an opinion that some higher entity is responsible for our existence. And an opinion is neither right or wrong until clear unequivocal proof is supplied.
The answer is that no one knows for sure and until then I remain an agnostic, and its my opinion that I shall remain so until the end of my life.
Counters to my claims must hold meaning for me to consider them, yours hold no meaning to me, and I willnot remember it.

It would be hard to be married to you. One needs to prove any and everything to you or you won't believe it.
Why is needing proof for an extraordinary claim bad?
Are you saying that if someone came up to me and said they have a spaceship that can take me anywhere in the world, and that if I meet them at their house at midnight, they will show me....
I should just believe them right? I mean, there have been "accounts" and "videos" of spaceships and aliens so I should just take his word for it right?
I guess we see history differently. I see it having every connection to God.
