Raison...don't expect most of The Atheist Crew on this board to "get" what you are saying. It makes too much "sense" and takes too much "wisdom" to notice that people have different perceptive abilities/qualities, and are not all the same in their intuitive prowess...as well as having varied "reasons" for being good or bad.
Their "Religophobia" compels them to heap most of the bad that has ever occurred in human history on "religion". Funny thing is...they don't even believe in "religion", or that any God exists to persuade or discourage people to actually do anything---So ultimately, they DO know it is really the basic mindset of each individual to be the way they are, and if there was NEVER any "religion" or "Gods" you'd still have people that were all a mixture of good and bad.
Plus, their "addiction" to criticizing "Religion" (and "Theism" in general) takes them over. So they spend thouuuuuuusands of hours of their life on this board arguing about something they don't even believe exists, and representing like a kid in the schoolyard all leaned forward, arms outstretched with their palms up and thumbs facing back, with a look on their face like something smells bad, shouting, "NOPE! EPIC FAIL!...NOT EMPIRICALLY PROVEN!!"
But please don't leave...all is not lost! It's an "acquired taste"...but after a time you can view it as rather amusing, and the source of a twisted form of "comedy". LOL! Stick around...You'll see!

Gldnrule, I hate to say this, but you are coming off a bit... Self empowered. Not sure of that is the phrase I am looking for, but it comes close. You also need to realize that people think and process everything differently. We all see the world through the same bodily function. However, the way we understand and form opinions about a certain topic os very different. Please realize this with your posts.
I was happy to have the opportunity to discuss everyone's unique thoughts on this topic. I will look into the reading material that so many of you suggested. I honestly feel that I have learned some valuable information from most of you. You are all amazing individuals. See you around.

Raison, I once coined the term "Initiated Amusement". That was what I had endeavored. Unfortunately...with over 200 posts this thread has lost steam and it didn't click...also, they are all pretty much on to me and know that I actually think they are very cool...so that puts a big kink in my game as well. They still indulge me sometimes. At this point it's probably gratuitous. But nothing ventured...nothing gained! LOL!
