I think our own human minds have been wired (by natural selection) to look for patterns cause/effect and meaning in things just a means for survival (hunting, learning plants, understanding danger etc.) I can't tell you when the human brain created the *spark* of spirituality, but it was lit early in our exsistance. That is were God flowed from.
Now, how was God reinforced and "kept alive" in society? Probably those people who understood cause and effect the best realized that keeping God in your back pocket = power and position over the social group. That meant survival. I sometimes wonder if/when human evolution veered away from survival of the fittest to survival of the most socially manipulative. Or if those concepts are one and the same!

Nobody created God. God exists indeed eternally, without beginning, and without a end. And that must be so. Since from absolutely nothing , nothing arises, since absolutely nothing has no potentialities, something must have always existed. We call it God.

There are many concepts.
For example:
The person - God. God - the general ancestor , gives rise to children (children of god) Children become Gods in future :
There is God of agriculture, the war god, mother - the goddess, God - the general ancestor, etc... perfection in certain area of ability to live.
There there was no word "God" and modern stereotypes. There were names of vital processes.

My question is "Who created god"?

Please don't assert that god always existed, because you have already ruled-out that possiblity when asserting that god created the universe.

Good luck.
Who created god..... That's easy, man's imagination, that's Who....

This. For there to be anything at all, something has to have existed outside of being created.

Definitely this one, it's a large Egyptian stork now extinct. It's primary purpose was probably delivering gods, but when the god business became too saturated, it lost it's evolutionary niche and went by the wayside.

Assuming God was created (the God most often spoken about, call this G1).

Even if G1 was created by another thing (call this G2), that won't solve the issue because we can now ask "Who Created G2?", then "Who Created G3?" and so on and so forth ad infinitum. You just keep looking further and further back, like two mirrors reflecting off each other. Therefore, it's impossible to even determine if "Who Created God?" makes any real sense, let alone answer definitively.

Funny. You pose a question and then tell people to not give the correct answer.

God created the universe. He existed prior to the universe. I think you have a logical flaw in your thinking to assert that God could not have existed before the universe came to exist because He created the universe.

Yet another faith building post.

What is written about God says that he had no beginning. Eternal in past and future.
