christians can't even play nice even with other christians......
........ so how are they supposed to play nice with anyone else?
Yet another UR/ET debate in the "C" area has been shutdown by the mods because christians can't even contain their hatred when discussion their beliefs with other christians.
Again yet another demonstration that hate is the kernel* of the operating system called christianity.
* kernel - The kernel is a program that constitutes the central core of a computer operating system. It has complete control over everything that occurs in the system.

The whole thing seems to be set up on hate and superiority to begin with... why do you think there are so many denominations? Not only that, but you'll have 1st Baptist, Immanuel Baptist, Lakeside Baptist, etc. all within the same town because, even within the same denomination, there is so much in-fighting.

Well, that's a shame. I was rooting for the UR gang to finally talk some sense in to those scary ET guys.
The UR's god is much nicer than the ET's god.

This is what happens anytime people believe in absolutes and insist that THEY are Right! It's not Just Christians either!

It's impossible to have a reasonable discussion about something with no reason involved in it, so the recurring fighting is no surprise. At least churches don't lead armies anymore, at least here in the west.

You are right. It's not just "them". I've seen it here too. Everybody wants to be "right", and most are unwilling to even consider another's viewpoint... even when they agree but are saying it in a different way. Thank you for pointing this out.

I was walking across a bridge one day, and I saw a man standing on the edge, about to jump off. So I ran over and said "Stop! don't do it!" "Why shouldn't I?" he said. I said, "Well, there's so much to live for!" He said, "Like what?" I said, "Well...are you religious or atheist?" He said, "Religious." I said, "Me too! Are you christian or buddhist?" He said, "Christian." I said, "Me too! Are you catholic or protestant?" He said, "Protestant." I said, "Me too! Are you episcopalian or baptist?" He said, "Baptist!" I said,"Wow! Me too! Are you baptist church of god or baptist church of the lord?" He said, "Baptist church of god!" I said, "Me too! Are you original baptist church of god, or are you reformed baptist church of god?" He said,"Reformed Baptist church of god!" I said, "Me too! Are you reformed baptist church of god, reformation of 1879, or reformed baptist church of god, reformation of 1915?" He said, "Reformed baptist church of god, reformation of 1915!" I said, "Die, heretic scum", and pushed him off. -- Emo Phillips

What is the difference? Not being funny, I really don't what UR / ET is, or their god (gods?) I googled it but it still doesn't make sense to me.

Um, don't you realize you're doing the same thing you're accusing them of doing? What's the difference between saying "Baptists/Catholics/Universalists are..." and "Christians are..."?
Saying Christians can't play nice makes just about as much sense as saying Brazilians can't play nice. Really, every single Brazilian? Of course not. Most people are nice sometimes and mean other times. Few people are always nice or always mean. Christians are no exception.
The world is not black and white.
