Stereotyped Creationist response. I come from a family of all Creationist psychos, you keep insisting god is real, YOU need to provide the evidence, it is NOT our job to disprove your ridiculous claims. It is YOUR job to present the evidence, NOT the other way around.
No we can't "PROVE" evolution, it is a theory, we can only provide evidence to support it. Most christians don't seem to understand a theory, gravity is a theory as well, NOT a fact, and we can't prove it, but until someone disproves it, we'll believe it's true. You cant trip and fall up, you can't drop a pencil and have it fall up and hit the ceiling. But until we have strong evidence against the theory of gravity, im going to keep on believing it's true.
I been a Christian for a long time, come from a very strict church and Christian family, believing in a LITERAL(YES, LITERAL) 24 hour, 7 day creation and a 6000 year old earth, I highly question it now. Funny thing is I started questioning it when I started reading the bible And ever since I started questioning it, I actually listen to the sermons now, and actually think about them. I also started to pay attention to others and notice how very little they pay attention, I still go to church and, well, I love the morals that they teach like we should show compassion to everyone, but this other stuff about creationism is BEYOND pathetic. I don't know what I consider myself, I guess Im a closet Atheist. I don't really like labels and don't have the need to put a label on everything. I also don't have the need to feel the need to ask everyone where they go to church and then judge them and think they're a horrible person if they go to the "wrong" church, or if they don't go to church at all.
it's also ridiculous to call someone an "Evolutionist" again it's a theory, not a religion. Goodness, viruses mutating is a form of evolution. Christians say evolution is flat out wrong, they don't even think. And yes, my very strict and closed minded and uneducated church refers to them as "evolutionists"
If you don't believe my church believes in a LITERAL 7, 24 hour day creation(which I don't blame you, how can anyone with a brain cell believe it is beyond me) heres a link. I agree to, the bible makes it very clear that it is a literal 24 hour, 7 day creation. So therefor when someone says it could mean a million years, yeah, they're interpreting it how they want to and changing it, and yet claim atheists are horrible people who don't go to church because they want to do evil things non stop. Coming up in the next few months when I stop going to church, im going to do community service instead on sunday mornings, and donate money to charity rather then to the church offering

According to their website they have 2,310,235 baptized memebers. Glad to see only 27k fans on Facebook, Makes me feel SO good knowing they're a vast minority.
What would happen if I came out and tell them I don't believe and think it's all a bunch of hogwash? Will they kick me out, or give my counseling? Who knows, Im technically an atheist, a closeted one because I will never tell anyone, but am still a member. Lol so funny

Well, all of these things may be true....I dont claim to know how or why or from where thing came, but I have reasoned thus.....If you were to hold your hand out in front of you and I asked you what was in your hand you would reply, "Nothing." If you kept your hand there for five minutes or five hours, I could ask you the same question and the answer would still be, "Nothing is there." It would be the same after five years or five million years. Why, because unless someone puts something into your hand("create"), there will never be anything there. All of this to say that, no matter how hard we or nature try, you can NEVER get something out of nothing unless there is some outside creative force. Things do not come from nothing....you can never get something from nothing, Eventually you go back far enough where there was nothing and then one day there was something....?

I think it was Carl Sagan who said "We will follow the truth no matter where it leads us." Unfortunately, scientists follow the truth until it starts pointing towards a creator, but because they have shunned the idea of a creator and thus a created universe, they blind their eyes and look for something else to explain the unexplainable. I dont know about you, but when I look at the stars and the sky...not to mention the human body, I see the fingerprint of a creator.....

Oh....and a theory is a theory because it has not been proven....otherwise it wouldn't be called a theory! Hmmmm.....

Page after page of pointless examples that neither side is ever going to agree with.
People who believe in a God just believe. You can't and won't change their minds.
Just as people who believe in the "science" religion can't and won't change their minds.
Niether side can offer any solid proof that the other is right or wrong so whats the point.
Christians believe in what the atheists call "fairytales"
Atheists believe in the same fairytale only from a science point of view. "I came from monkeys"
When you take a step back from it both sides sound crazy.
I will now let you get back to your non winnable arguments
