Very good responses! It's interesting to see what gets people going...and glad I am not the only one that gets a bit irritated at times
So, when you are angered, how do you handle it? Do you lash out and do the same thing you accuse someone else of? Or do you calm down and try to reason with the person? Do you just let it go and ignore the situation?

I have many things that make my blood boil, but being as this thread is in the "Religion" catagory, I will answer accordingly.
What makes my blood boil are people who believe that their religion is the "true" religion, meaning that no other religion is valid or will get someone to heaven. Added to that are people that try to cram their religion down your throat makes my blood boil.

If someone takes Gods name in vain in my presence I let them know that God is important to me and please don't do that in my presence. Last year my brother in law did it in our home and I said we do not talk like that in this house, he apologized I told him I accepted his apology but God is really the one he should apologize to.

I can understand what you're saying. We all have our beliefs and we all think we're right. We are all guilty of that, Christians and non-Christians alike.
Being a Christian, there is a right way and a wrong way to address issues. Do it the wrong way and it does nothing to help the cause.

That was a very courteous and appropriate way of handling the situation...thus you had a good outcome. There are ways that the situation could have been addressed that could have resulted in a not so nice manner!
I will have to say that the other thing that gets my blood boiling is when any situation results in name calling. What is the point in that?

Yeah, I can definitely see where that would get your blood boiling. It's a tough line isn't it? You're either gay, therefore sinful in the eyes of God and some humans, OR you turn to God, try to change your ways and hope to help others on the way...but then YOU'RE now judgmental or intolerant...vicious cycle!
How do you handle it? Just let it go? Or confront the situation?
