NDEs are simply the brain experiencing hypoxia. There is nothing magical or mystical about it, it is purely a physiological response to a lack of oxygen.

If NDEs are only simple brain hypoxia, how do you explain this 4 year old boy coming back with all kinds of information that was not known to him before the NDE? Non believers often make statements like this suggesting there is nothing magical or mystical about such experiences. Yet they do this simply by ignoring the details of the accounts. And it is because they always ignore such details. They believe what they do.
It is not uncommon for the subconscious mind to pick up on topics that we never knowingly see. During "lucid dreams", and possibly NDEs those topics could come back to the surface and be seen, incorporating themselves into normal memory. Or... the story might be filled with lies. The parents could have told the kid what to say. It wouldn't be the first time someone has lied for fame, or "the greater good". You are no saint, your thoughts are just as biased as your "they". Where are those details of the accounts? You believe what you do. Quit supporting your ideas with stories by pretending they are factual evidence.

Not a skeptical bone in your body is there Campo? Ever think that this kid could have be coached?
People have been known to not tell the truth ya know!
You may have a point if it was just that one kid. The truth is that type of experience happens to many, many people. Are they all "coached?"
No, but they all seem to want to sell books, magazine articles, appear on TV/Radio and appear to want to be someone seen as 'special' by others. NDE indeed!!
What is not logical is believing that nothing exists after death.
Why is it illogical? We have no proof either way. I don't see believing nothing exists anymore illogical than believing in heaven and hell or reincarnation.

NDE's are not known to be evidence of any kind of paranormal activity, to include that of "holy" encounters. They might simply be the brain hallucinating similar to a lucid dream. We don't KNOW.
We have very little understanding of what an NDE actually is at this point.
Theories are not factual evidence.
What is NDE? Near death experiences? I never made any claims in reference to that. You are confusing me with Campbell34.
