On Friday, the pope demanded that all religions enjoy the same rights, a veiled reference to the problems that Christians still suffer in Turkey, where about 99% of the population is Muslim. Christian communities complain that they struggle to gain permits to rebuild or refurbish buildings and say the government has been slow to follow through on promises to return properties confiscated decades ago.

The Same Rights, for ALL religions

Publicity stunt.

Those poor Christians, nobody wants to let them rule the world. They believe they are commanded to proselytize, which annoys me and a lot of other people.

Any Christian can go into any mosque, and pray if they want to while inside. (With exception of a few mosques inaccessible to non-Muslims.)

1,400 Years of Islamic Aggression: An Analysis

Tell me again who is content to spread their religion peacefully by telling others, and who is actively trying to conquer the world? This, btw, is merely the tip of the iceberg. The Islamic world was originally the Mesopotamian world, who has tried to control the world since written history.

Religion as a whole is hell bent on controlling the world and the people. It is easier to rule the masses when they believe that is what their god-in-the-tiny-box wants from them.

Are Christians taught that they are supposed convert all heathens to the Christian faith? Would those then come under the authority and influence of the leaders of the Christian church? If completely successful, would that mean the whole world, as Christians, would be spiritually "ruled" by the heirarchy of the Christian church? Is it the goal of all faithful Christians to "rule the world" in that manner in theirr own "kingdom" of Christianity?

An article of Islamic faith (about which you apparently know nothing) states that all persons born a Muslim are Muslim for life. The objective of the radical Muslims is to ensure that all Muslims adhere to their version of Islam. Muslims make absolutely no effort to bring non-Muslims into the faith, and even if you wanted to become a Muslim, they would accept you only after a great deal of diligent effort on your part to learn Islam and convince the elders that you are serious about it. The radical Muslim sects do not care a whit about non-Muslims, but the do care a great deal about non-Muslims coming into their country and trying to steal the souls of Muslims and convert them away from Islam.

Muslims also know that every Christian in their country recognizes his spiritual obligation to convert all heatherns (including Muslims) to the Christian faith, and if you knock on my door and try to sell me your Christian BS, I will not think of you as a very desirable neighbor, either.

With very few exceptions, non-Muslims live perfectly peacefully with full civil rights in every Islamic country. I lived in one for two years.

If you read your own links carefully, you'll see that they confirm everything I have just said.
