I believe man created all gods, and how effective they become for the individual depends upon how much time and energy one has invested in them.
I also believe the Creation and the Creator (big Cs) are one and the same.
I attend an annual camp out on a specific piece of land. Every year when I arrive, I can "feel the magic" of the place that has, for me, so many good memories. Any time during the camp out that I feel a bit off, I can seek out a quiet spot on the property and just be alone with myself, or with my gods, or whatever. I always feel refreshed and renewed afterwards. This was especially helpful the year my mother was dying.
I have given energy to that place. I created (small C) that particular "God." Guess that makes me a creationist too!
Anything can be powerful for you if you believe it so. More people just need to understand that the word "god" is a job description, not a proper name.
Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 112 Surah Ikhlaas verses 3-4: Neither has He an offspring, nor is He is the offspring of anyone! And none is equal with Him in rank.
And Theodore Geisel on page 1 of "Cat in the Hat" sayeth "All we could do is sit, sit, sit, sit, and we did not like it. We did not like it one bit."
How bout THAT?
