Watch this, it's supposed quotes from dying religious skeptics. By the way, I'm not a Christian, I believe there is more than meets the eye, but don't follow any doctrine. I'm just wondering if you guys are scared at the idea that the fire and brimstone Hell of any religion might exist. Do you assert a non-existent fear of dying and going to Hell? I'm curious, I have been told I'm going to Hell numerous times, and it never really bothered me. Thanks.
As if any would admit it even if they did........

You have to first believe there is a hell before you can fear it, ergo only theists fear hell and that is why they are what they are.

Playing a trump card of hell to an atheist, particularly an ex christian, we simply laugh at the concept and wonder why you have not figured it out for yourself yet that it is all mythical and make believe.

If xians were able to irrevocably demonstrate that they ARE different to the "world" and that they ARE in fact renewed/reborn et al. then perhaps they would have a better draw card. Everything they purport to now be, they do not stand out in a mall unless they are of the extreme persuasion of women dressing funny. By all accounts of their claims, they should all "glow in the dark"

You know that thing of walking the talk?

Being scared of hell is like a child that is scared of a beastie jumping out of their closet in the middle of the night. While its existence is possible, there is no reason to fear the idea of such things.

That bugger used to hide under my bed when I was a kid.

Nah!. Believing in Hell is an act of stupidity, in my humble opinion.

Nope, not afraid of hell.

Also, not afraid of Bigfoot, goblins or the wrath of Thor -- funny how the "I'm not a Christian, I'm just wondering..." crowd never 'innocently queries' atheists as to their fears of these things...

For this kind of question, you should have included theists also. And I'd suspect that more theists are scared of hell than atheists.

Fear of hell is probably the main driver for the religion.
