Society is now engaged in TEACHING its citizens how to reject remorse. Films, plays, videos, books, songs, the military - every form of communication is now actively engaged in showing people how to do bad without feeling regret. Remember the lyrics for the song: "My Way?"
That means more and more people are being coached for the DOING of evil.
The ToE effectively destroys the attractiveness of empathy by its emphasis on "survival of the fittest."

I would suggest that society, contrary to repressing remorse, is now actively engaged in turning everyone into politically correct, empathic, ecological, bleeding-heart whiners.
Society would be foolish to teach it's members to forgoe remorse and encourage the destruction of itself through intense selfishness and violence. I'm not saying this hasn't happened - but it seems the paradigm has shifted, in America and some European countries, at least.
Well, because they aren't good for the well being of society as a whole. Does that answer your question? It certainly isn't because some invisible being in the sky told me they needed to be, or because we might not get into that imaginary wishful thinking place called heaven. We have evolved as a species and our behavior should reflect as much.

Not really.
Evolution is simply adaptation to environments, little else.

Your wrong. Our brains have also evolved, along with the thought process. We are a species of the highest intelligence. Therefore, our actions and what wepercieve as good and evil will change accordingly.
Evil is a man-made concept. Actions are actions, regardless of whether or not they are good for oursleves and others, or whether or not they are bad for ourselves andothers. IT IS all relative. There is no natural law governing what actions are good and what actions are evil. So, to answer the OP, no, evil does not exist but only in our minds.
Evil is indeed real. What is good and evil. It is defined by God and written in men's hearts. It is in written form also in the Bible. The 10 Commandments are an outline for what defineing what is good and evil. Its not hard to figure out, lying, greed, theft, murder, rebellion against authorities, adultery, and lust all we clearly see outlined in the Bible as evil, and in most cases, societies throughout the world historically have also condemned these.
Yes, children are born this way with evil in their hearts. Christians refer to this as Original Sin.
Evil exist every time when we purposelly hurt another. For some reason people enjoy to keep evilness around.
