is it a cold hard fact, or simply a myth. Provable fact? Do we know for fact that they existed. If so...what are implications, please?

I posit that all supposed dinosaur fossils are actually naturally occurring formations of the mineral dinolite. Just like crystals and gems in strata of other rocks, except that these are shaped like the bones of large prehistoric animals.

The gods sat around for months creating all the bones, making molds, casting them, making them look millions of years old, then spent many more months traveling the world burying them. They are such jokers.

What are implications, in that case?

Wouldn't dinosaurs have had to exist millenias ago? Would be interested in the implications.

People that believe in invisible sky deities will believe in just about any absurdity.

There are fossil records and dino skeletons on display in museums all over the world. But are they real? Is it possible to manufacture dinosaur skeletons (from dinolite) and stragetically place them underground for scientists to "discover" millions of years after their mass extinction?

Outisde of movies and TV, I've never seen an actual living dinosaur. But who am I to question science? I have never actually seen a bacterium but I don't question their existence. I've never actually seen those things called radio-waves. People say there's a hole in the ozone layer, but I've yet to see this "ozone layer" thing.

You write as though there is nothing between myth and that which is proved. But there is. A great deal, in fact. We have evidence, not proof. So it is with many things. After a certain amount of evidence, people accept said evidence as conclusive.

Ok I admit it. I belong to a secret society that has been forging and planting dinosaur bones around the globe for the past century and half. We've also been squishing Trilobites wherever they are found so people will think they are extinct.

It won't be long before They send a hit man to finish me off for disclosing this awful truth, but I thought Y'all should know. Also, Elvis is alive and well in Duluth, Minnesota.

Wow, millennia. At least two thousands years. Let's see:
Julius Caesar
Aristotle
The Egyptian Pyramids
Stonehenge
The General Sherman Tree in Sequoia National Park

Among a great many other things, all of the above existed over two thousand years ago (and the latter three still exist).

The only implications of 'millennia ago' is that life on Earth has been around for over 2000 years. Quite an implication...
