you don't mean that good loving imaginary deity in the sky..you know the one that lets millions of children starve around the world. and gives large tax breaks to the 2 percent.. is the the one you are talking about??

We all realize by now that he will only talk about God when he thinks he needs a few points of support from the religious.

Oh, you mean like every other president and candidate in U.S. history?

Of course your theory is totally supported by his NOT mentioning Moderator cut: offensiveduring his address for one of the country's more religious holidays...

And admit it, even if he had thanked God you and the other fundies would merely have claim he wasn't sincere or he was talking about the wrong God.

Yah, because America was so much more in-tune with god when we had legalized slavery, Jim Crow laws, legalized lynchings, and voting restricted to rich white males alone. All of those things are so much like the teachings of Jesus, you know.

I honestly don't get why fundies are right-wing. Yes, I know, they don't like abortion or equal rights for LGBT people, but all the Biblical commands to avoid violence and take care of the poor seem to go right over their heads. As a whole, it seems like atheists and agnostics are more compassionate than fundamentalist Christians.
