Default 2sd Priest in Hot Water over Women Priest
The first was peace activist Maryknoll Fr. Roy Bourgeois founder of School of Americas Watch.
Now a second peace activist priest Franciscan Fr. Jerry Zawada is in hot water.
"Zawada said he will not fight any prospective charges and said he plans to continue working for those in need of help.
"I believe in the struggle for truth and for justice for people," he said. "I want healing. I want hope. I want compassion."

You would think that by now the Catholic church would have exited the dark ages.

Oh well, not the first time my optimism hasn't taken reality into consideration.

Well there was a time it was moving forward but has been in full retreat for some time now.
