This discussion is not about the sovereignty of the U.S. (which is gone, btw). It is about the CHURCHES having been corrupted by "sleeping" with the political lords and committing abominations. It's about the who_re riding the beast system. Our citizenship as Christians is the NEW JERUSALEM which is above and is free. Our rights as American citizens is barely hanging on by a thread. You can now be accused of being a terrorist and taken to "black sites" anywhere on the globe (according to our leaders). This includes being "associated" with anything considered to be terrorism (like perhaps demonstrating - which our Constitution says we have the right to do). But we live in very evil times. Your only protection is in Christ. Most of our leaders have abandoned the people a long time ago and most of them are millionaires and have no intention of protecting anything dear to us.
I made that statement because the original poster said that he did not care about American sovereignty.

Then you are in violation of God's divinely ordained principle of nationalism which was designed by God as a means of protecting the human race from Satan's program of internationalism which originated with the tower of Babel. God established nations, just as He established volition, marriage and family.
These are divine institutions which God established for the protection, perpetuation and orderly function of the human race in the devils world.
The believer has a dual citizenship. The nation to which he belongs and his heavenly citizenship.

The Kingdom in its fullness is already, here then? No need for the Second Coming? There is a temporal Kingdom of God on Earth made up of Christ reigning from above and all the properly-baptized with the Vicar of Christ ruling it on Earth, yes, but this is not the Kingdom in its fullness, it is simply the Church Militant, a missionary sojourner on a sinful planet trying to guide people to God and salvation through its teachings and sacraments, as well as trying to help those in need and keep evil at bay on this planet while it is in the world...that's all. Individual human societies and nations with their own cultures, laws, and borders are still neccessary and will exist until Jesus returns with the real Heavenly kingdom.

And which book is that? Because it certainly is not the bible. I agree with Mike on this one. This country was founded on Christian principles, and even though it has made many mistakes, as a country, it is still the best place to live, work, worship, and be free.
