In this day of home computers, i-everythings, and so forth, does the over-stimulus created by this information age (psychologists have found a massive increase in anxiety and depression in the past decade or so...keep taking those magnesium supplements my friends) make it more difficult to sense certain things one doesn't typically perceive without an effort that begins with quieting one's mind and simply waiting for the thoughts to come without a conscious effort?
