There is evidence to back up the Noah story. Science has found much of it some decades ago, and the last bit came in the last decade. The flood DID happen. It may have been embellished a bit, but it did happen.
Have you heard of plate tectonics and continental drift? The global flood myth has several huge problems to overcome but the first one is water. There just in not enough water present on earth to flood the planet to that extent. Please explain where the water came from and where it went.
And, I've been wondering if the meteorite that splashed down east of Madagascar broke things up into even more plates. But, if a meteorite that is 2 miles in diameter would be capable of destroying about half of the earth, the one that hit 4,800 years ago was supposed to be 14 miles across. That would cover most of the earth with a tsunami. And, where did the water go? Perhaps, back to where it was before the impact.
The Great Pyramid at Cheops and the Djoser Pyramid were both built "pre-flood" but neither shows ANY evidence of being underwater.
Egyptians have CONTINOUS historical records dating back to both pre-flood and post-flood time yet, other than the usual flooding of the Nile, there is NO reference to a global flood.
There are also countless other pre-flood structures that bear no evidence to back up biblical claims.

There is a lot being ignored regarding the alleged meteor strike. Anything that big, even if it hit the ocean would release HUGE amounts of energy (shock wave) that would have wiped out everything in Africa and we would have evidence of it. There is none.
Everything is still as it was (more of less) and archaeological evidence matches a sequential dating record of human and animal habitation.
Ignoring the equivalent of a million simultaneous nuclear blasts, the waves generated would lose energy quickly and would not cover mountains necessarily. Plus there is ZERO evidence of any water damage on our coastal regions.
The problem with creationists is they keep trying to squeeze billions of years of earth's history into a 6k year time frame to lend credibility to their myths.
Even with the recent Indonesian tsunami, there was nothing more than bigger waves for awhile that did not breach the beaches. Energy dissipates and ripples/waves do not go on forever.
Just throw a pebble into a still pond and observe.

Well...yes. If you ignore that the Bible says that the water covered the whole world and change that to mean the 'known' world, one can claim that the flood happened. That's called 'apologetics'.
Well no, it's not fake, and I seen some that if you drop on your foot would have you on crutches for a while.
While not fake, it is clearly fiction.

I disagree with this. The stories in the modern versions of the Bible are likely so poorly translated that they're as bad as fiction.... but the original Bible most likely has quite a bit of truth and symbolism to it.
