Default no such thing as christians

is this jsut a thought?

what makes you a christian?

people seem to fight over religion quite a bit..
waht is releigion and why is it such a touchy topic?

If you say you are a christian who believes in wahtever then why do people have to oppose this?
if you say you are an athiest - why do people appose this? etc etc x 30000 or so differnt relgious sects

it seems silly.. i say there are no such thing as christians, athiets, muslims etc .. we are all just Life.- i guess this too is just a thought. doesnt exist

But the truth is important. It is important to me that we live in a world where what we believe is based on evidence and reason, not on Faith. Thus I have to decline to be politely silent.

I say everyone defines things differently. We define "what is a Christian" different and we describe "what is truth" differently.

I understand what you are saying (kinda), but I do think there are Christians and Atheists and all other sorts of "classifications" of people. But what the parameters are that put people in certain groups seem to change depending on who you ask to define the group.

No one is born a christian. People are christians when they've been raised by christians or simply say they're chrisitans. There's obviously no real criteria, or you wouldn't have so many types of christians.

the point really is how we separate ourselves from eachother based on thoughts... we are all the same.. but our thoughts separate us..
I am christian , you are muslim,
i am black you are white
i am spanish, you are asian
or whatever labels our mind puts and uses as boundaries .

we may look differnt but underneath all of the forms we are the same

the differences are jsut in our minds as thoughts

if we realsied this.. we would not be separate.. we wouild embrace the diffences and enjy them instead of arguing fightiing or waring over them

we are somthing deeper that the titles we give to ourselvs and eachother

Man can not live on reason and evidence alone, or else man would be alone.
Even the hedgefund masters have faith.

You're right about that looking, Christians define what "Christianity" is based on what they want it to be, not what it really is.

I always heard that a Christian is one who accepts Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. If you don't accept this, then nothing else you do (no matter how Christian-like) makes you a Christian.

arnt all of these jsut thoughts? what if we dropped all the thoughts and beliefs ? what would separate us then?

are we our thoughts? are we our beleifs? throw these thoughts and beliefs away for a moment.. do we disappear? waht is left.. arnt we all there..
what separates us then? not our thoughts?

these thoughts may be very attached to us.. that is why we fight over them, and wars are fought over them, but what are they really? why do they have so much power over us?
