there is lots of violence in the animal world but it isnt technically 'sin'.

sin is an invention of the human mind.
animals cant understand it.

sin is a caricature of violence (the death drive)

human eventually mature to the point that they can see that 'sin' is just an imaginary construct of the mind. Violence however is very real.

Sin can only occur when beings know about opposition. There is opposition in all things. Right vs wrong. Hot vs cold. Light vs dark.

I think your definition of "sim" is correct and your analysis is correct. There was "sin" before there were humans.

"Sin" versus "unacceptable/maladaptive behavior" is what brings money into the religious coffers.
