He already dd reveal Himself to us through His Son Jesus Christ 2000 years ago through many signs, and miracles. He doesn't need to do it over and over and over again for each generation. Besides, during the last 2000 years He has been conciliated (at peace) with mankind and entreats us to be at peace with Him. For the last 2000 years He has not be reckoning our offenses to us (in spite of what Pat Robertson says, LOL). (see 2 Corinthians 5:18-20). It is the work of the evangelist to get out in the fields and inform people of these things.

One time I was talking to my dad before he died. I said: Dad, you know the verse that says
The pure in heart shall see God? He said "yes." I said I finally figured out what that verse means.
He replied: Oh? I said, Yes. When I see you, I see God. You are so loving and kind and compassionate.
He died a happy man.

faith is not a virtue what kind of a god require people to believe in him without evidence?

Revelation 21:8 old boy.

"But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars--their place will be in the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death."

I guess that covers just about everyone!!

If aliens knocked on your door and told you that there was no such things as gods and that they have controlled the universe since the day they created it, would you believe them?

I think your answer to my above question would put you in the same category.

I never said that I wanted God to force people to believe.

If Jesus knocked on my door of course I would believe. I don't necessarily need to see him to believe, I just need undeniable evidence.

And according to the Koran he revealed himself to the Arabs. You see, the New Testament is one of thousands of mythology books. Why doesn't he present the kind of evidence that would convince the 70% of people who do not believe in the Christian God?

It is not particularly difficult for God to do this. We see evidence of the existence of people all the time around us. All God has to do is come down to a news station and just hang out.

That does not logically follow that if God appeared to the Arabs that therefore the New Testament is a mythological book.

How often would He have to visit a news station?

Could He use a radio station? Satellite radio? Could He use skype? Or maybe tweet?

What is your preference?

Would you believe if He did appear on conservative Fox News but not on the socialist CNN? Or would you believe it more if He appeared on FreeSpeech T.V?

How would you know it is Him since He is spirit and invisible?

Let me know and I'll see what I can do. It's a local call for me.

By the way, Christ is coming back to set up the millennial kingdom on the earth. Maybe you will be alive to see it.

I know, I know, some of you will just say He said He would return 2000 years ago and hasn't done so yet. But He said only the Father really knows when He is to return.

Won't you guys feel silly for dissing God and Christ when He does?

I agree in essence with truth_teller. God doesn't hide Himself, we hide from Him. He is pure truth, we are fragmentally falsified. The false is kindling to the fire of pure truth. It's therefore merciful that He doesn't reveal Himself to man any more than He does. Who wants to be friends with a roaring furnace?

So you believe that someone can be a muslim and a Christian at the same time?

I really don't care about how God chooses to reveal himself, as long at it is public and easily recordable. I don't see why it is so difficult for God to reveal himself in such a way that a majority of the planet will believe in him.

Politicians, actors, and singers do this on a regular basis. Why is God unable to do this?

Of course, and that is why God is always coming down in a public way that proves that god exists to everybody.
