Troop, be nice to hear what the believers would want to call it, don't you think, after all, without the "right" religion Heaven or Hell could be denied them?

I got done reading a book I thought was clever.. It was about Angels.. there were 3 types.. Good, Evil and undecided. Guess who the 3rd choice was.. yep humans, here on earth to pick a side. Was a good book. And have you noticed though most religions there is this connection with 3? START MIDDLE END. FATHER SON HOLY-SPIRIT, 3. EARTH, SKY, WATER, 3. BODY, SOUL, MIND, 3. just as a few examples. Just something to think about..

Well, you are correct that "Hell" does not exist, at least not the way Christendom thinks about it with devils running around with pitch forks and poking at living people in flaming fire for eternity. I mean, really.

All "hell" originally meant was a covering. It is of Germanic origin. They would "hell" the potatoes or "hell" the roof. When poor Wilhelm died they helled him to. In other words, they covered him. A Hellmet covers the head. Hell is just a word for Sheol and Hades which in the original Hebrew and Greek meant the grave. So the KJV translators gave Sheol, Hades, Gehenna, Tartarus the word "Hell." But Gehenna is a trash dump just outside Jerusalem and is a park today. During the millennium it will become a trash dump again with fires burning and worms where the fires aren't. Dead criminals will have their bodies dumped in there where the fire is not going out and the worm is not ceasing. Then during the new earth age there is the lake of fire but it is just described as "the second death" and not conscious torment for humans. I believe that death will be abolished and all mankind will be saved.

In the bible there are the heavens where the birds fly (see Genesis 1) and there is heaven where God is and there are the celestial realms.

heaven and hell do exit....it is a real place. Yes the bible tells us so. jesus came to earth lived, died, at the age of 33 to give us a better life...to offer us life. not this life on earth but a nice life in the heavens. accept christ before its to late he said in his word every knee shall bow and every tongue will confess that he is lord of lord and king of kings. Our god is powerful, yet loving. why not heaven for all those who love him and follow his word accepting his as the good sheppard and hell for the one who said no. rv 22 should tell you a little inside about hell fire, brimstone raining everyday. the choice is your. heaven or hell Believe ....be blessed

Why not heaven? Because if I wanted to live under a benevolent dictator, I would move to North Korea.
