I recently attended a GLBT film festival and there was the usual protestors with their signs and bull horns telling us to repent and that we were going to hell, god hates us, etc.
Let me save you sometime. That does NOTHING except get us to make jokes or simply ignore you. You are wasting your time when you could be doing some real good for charities, etc.
Please tell me how you feel you are doing any good? It seems such a waste of resources to me.

This evanglical thinks its tacky and useless as well to demonstrate against anything..I cant see anywhere in the NT where Jesus sat in protest or made signs to make those going to do anything to feel hated...
I think you're right, but there may be some souls who really think they are doing God's work there. Someone really should clue them in. Maybe I'll go stand outside some church picnics with protest signs against christians eating potato salad

saint annoyed...lol..why stop with the potato salad..might as well protest the green beans..victorytampa I dont think it would help to try and tell them they are doing more harm than good.

Just remember there are radicals in ALL Beliefs and Religions. Even Christians feel these people go about it the wrong way. So please don't group us all into one big HATE category.
I believe a TRUE Christian would NEVER tell someone they were going to hell, who are they to JUDGE and maybe these are the ones that need to read the Bible more than the non-believer does.
God only blesses those who spread HIS word with truth and not hate.
If you want to get into a fight with them, maybe (which I don't recommend).
You're right, though, this kind of demonstration accomplishes nothing from either a secular or a Christian point of view. It could be a kind of petty tit-for-tat, though. Gay protests at Christian events certainly aren't unheard of.
