Lucifer rebelled against God.
The Flood was punishment for mankind's sins and wickedness.
Jesus Death on the Cross was necessary for the redemption of sin.
The Great Architect sure needs a lot of do-overs before the Universe starts running as per spec.
I'm sure that it has already been stated here, but the answer to the question, "why is there evil in the world" is as follows:
In the Beginning, God placed Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. When Adam willfully sinned by eating of the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil, something God told him not to do, as God told him that he would die if he did, sin and death entered into the world. Since every person is a descendent of Adam, everyone is a sinful creature in need of a Savior for the remission of sins. Only trusting in Jesus and accepting him as your Savior will allow one to have eternal life in Heaven. Evil is in this world because Adam's sin allowed evil to be leashed on this world. Evil is in this world because of Adam's sin. This is why it is important to understand Genesis.
That, in a nutshell, is why a lot of people consider the bible and its god, silly.
And God knew that that's EXACTLY what would happen, but he did it anyway, just as an excuse to throw his weight around, unleashing blood, wrath, revenge and fury.
I'm not impressed.
Satan deceived Eve, and Eve coerced Adam to eat of the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. God clearly told Adam to not eat of the tree.
Why do you feel the need to be rebellious toward God? You don't make the rules, God did. Thus, why do you feel that you have the right to question His ways?
Not even scientists claim nobody. They simply don't know. Of course, it's God, they just don't want to say so.
Nonsense. Scientists have no problem claiming "nobody." In fact, "nobody" is the only answer that can be reached if either the laws of conservation or causality are true. And in all of recorded human history, we have never seen an exception to them.

Sure. Natural laws are empirically derived. They require no theoretical explanation, they are simply observations of universal behavior for which we have seen no exceptions. Among the best confirmed of these are the laws of conservation and causality. Looking only at the latter, the syllogistic set is as follows:
Syllogism One:
All effects have causes. <This is empirically derived.
All causes are effects. <This is empirically derived.
All causes have causes.
Syllogism Two:
All causes have causes.
All “first causes” do not have causes.
No cause is a “first cause.”
Syllogism Three:
All chains of causality with beginnings have a “first cause.”
No cause is a “first cause.”
No chains of causality have beginnings.
Syllogism Four:
All ephemeral things have beginnings.
No chains of causality have beginnings.
No chains of causality are ephemeral. (i.e. All chains of causality are non-ephemeral.)
Syllogism Five:
All non-ephemeral things are eternal.
No chains of causality are ephemeral.
All chains of causality are eternal.
Syllogism Six:
All chains of causality are eternal.
The universe is a chain of causality.
The universe is eternal.

Except of course for all the evidence of entire sciences such as biology, geology, paleontology, zoology, taxonomy, ecology, biogeography, anatomy and genetics.
If god is omniscient, he should have known ahead of time that Lucifer would rebel. So either god is not omniscient, or god is responsible for Lucifer's rebellion by creating him in the full knowledge that he would rebel.

Yeah, but that doesn't trump the story of a god who created a fruit tree guarded by a devilish snake destined to curse billions of unborn children with sin.
"100 reasons why evolution is wrong" - Two hours of Kent Hovind doing the Gish gallop? How about no.
See, here's the deal: You don't need 100 reasons, 1 reason is enough - it just has to be backed with evidence. Hovind isn't just after the ToE, he's convinced cosmology, geology and paleontology, to name a few, have all got it wrong.

There. FIFY.
