Good Morning, everyone. Angel, I am proud to see that you are on the way to recovery. Moving, thank you for the easy fruit salad. Irish, I got your DM. You are the greatest!!!!! Everyone else, thank you, thank you, thank you. Oh, and Arguy, you too. I will be in touch.
I am going to try to limit my time on CD to the prayer thread and the quitters thread. The holidays are right around the corner and I am not ready. Today I have done well on the eating. Hubby made me some left over biscuits w/chicken for breakfast and I have not 'snacked' on anything. YET!
I will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers and check in daily. If you want, feel free to DM me. I will check there, but am going to try to stay away from the other threads. They are just too addictive and time consuming for now.
As always,
May God bless us all.

good for you! We are proud of you. It's not like you will be taking these the rest of your life--just short-term, remember.

Blessings, Weather. We will look forward to chatting with you here. Stay strong. I'm trying to ... on the eating front!
Maybe this goes without saying, but I do think we should be praying for each other in this endeavor be it smoking or dieting and I am praying for you guys to overcome.

Weather are you drinking lots of water? How about iced tea? I looked it up and tea doesn't have any calories. I am a big soda drinker and I switched to iced tea. One it filled me up and it doesn't have the sugar that soda does. I am now down to 1 soda a day.(Don't get started on how much tea I drink I will work on that later) If you drink coffee cut out the creamer. I dropped an entire pants size by just cutting out coffee creamer. It is all little steps taken one at a time. You can do it.

Hello Everyone....
I've been trying to cut back on my C-D consumption, and am having little success
May I join you? I'm going through and deleting as many subscribed threads as possible. So...I'll just subscribe to this one (..ahem...this thread can help me, right?...) and one or two or five others!! ? Yikes!
Also, Aiangel, everyone I know who has used the Chantix has been able to become nicotine free and it sticks! Standing with you in hopes and prayers. May the Chantix become that positive lifeline to help you achieve your goal! You can do it....
On a related issue of drinking water, I recently learned the importance of it being pure water, and not to count the water in coffee, soft drinks, etc. towards the 8 glasses of water a day. My Chiropractor/Homeopathic physician explained the coffee/tea, etc as "negative water" and that if I felt I must have the coffee, for each cup I'd need to add another cup to the plain water list. That is, if I Really wanted to detoxify...
Good Strength to everyone here who is trying to get free of her addictive ...whatever

Aiangel...glad to see you took that huge step! I will be praying for you in overcoming your addiction!
Last month I made up my mind to quit...I was smoke free for just over two weeks and some major issues hit me...needless to say, we all know the first thing I ran for.
I will probably be joining you soon...again!
And...Aiangel:
