Religion can expose you to a lot of fascinating literature, music, artwork, architecture, philosophies, cultural practices, rituals, celebrations and such which you might not otherwise ever have known existed.
What do you want to improve? You'll have to define what parts of your life that you need to improve before YOU can start to make the changes necessary. Do you know someone where you see that religion has improved their life and if so, in what way.
If you choose the right religion and say the right prayers, you will get everything you need and have a wonderful life in heaven.
So get off the computer and start praying.

Religion can change your focus and give you a new appreciation for how you live in society. Finding one that does that in a positive way may be problematic. Have you seen any that look like the people in it are more content than you?
