I am thankful for a great support group here! Thanks for the prayers for Christine, the baby. I am thankful that I have good health, which is the most important thing in life.Without it,nothing can be done. I am thankful that my mom is healthy and still driving at 86. It's been 11 months since my Dad passed away. He was very weak at the thanksgiving dinner. I am glad we had him then. I appreciate life a lot more.

I am thankful for God being a God of immeasurable love and grace, for being the person and character that He is. I mean...what would happen to us if His character had been one of indifference, or even worse: hateful. But...He is love, personified in Jesus, who gave His own life for us. God loves us! We are blessed...

I'm thankful for my husband because he's a good man and treats me with respect.
I'm thankful for my friends because I can count on them in bad times and enjoy their company
I'm thankful for being born in Chicago
I'm thankful for my career which I enjoy and sustains my lifestyle
I'm thankful for my health
I'm thankful for the time I got to spend with my parents, but not thankful that they died too young. There are things that I'm not thankful for and that's the main one.

I am thankful to have someone who loves me as much as I love them, to be free from hunger, fear and poverty. Thankful to have a nice roof over my head, the freedom to travel and enjoy the world.

Thankful to live in a beautiful area, thankful for all the wonderful books, plays and art which makes my life so much richer. Thankful for all the natural and man-made beauty around me, for the people who are kind, generous, gentle, tolerant, compassionate and loving.

I'm thankful that after chemo and radiation, my husband is feeling better, and a little stronger every day, (and hopefully, we'll get a good report after the first of the year). I'm thankful for a computer and a phone so that I can talk to my daughter and grandsons, even if they can't be home for the holidays, (being stationed overseas in Germany). I'm grateful for the good health of my children and grandchildren. I'm thankful for being able to endulge in the little pleasures of life, like reading, watching movies, laughing with my son and daughter, petting my little Russian Blue cat, (she feels like a rabbit), being outside on a pretty day, being healthy enough to sling haybales, or work on training my little horse. And, after a long day, I'm grateful to be able to have a hot shower, and a comfortable bed.

Yeah, that's something different to be thankful for, but I can see how one would appreciate it!

I am thankful for my wife. If I had never met her I would not have reached the age of 25.
