Depends on what you mean by coming true. If you mean that Christ's evil twin is about to show up and lead the world into war while "the Imperial March" from Star Wars is playing, followed by what amounts to a Godzilla movie battle between a monster and an angel...not likely.
But, if you mean metaphorically, than yes, it is coming true for us as individuals. Good and evil always do battle within the hearts of man, and that is the very core of what Revelation is about.
The antichrist is the ultimate hypocrite, and he is alive and well in us all. If people keep looking outward for the devil they will no doubt fall to it as the devil is real and it lives in the worst possible place: within us all.
It is easy and comforting to believe that the war between GOD and Satan is some far, distant slug fest that we are not a part of, but that is false comfort. Revelation happens within us all, every day, every moment. The prostitute of Babylon tempts us all, the red rider of violence is within us, and the armies of despair and hatred do battle with the angels in us every day. We can think the enemy is out there but to do so we ignore the enemy within.
Want to truth about Revelation? Don't listen to a preacher (who is himself most likely a cash hungry servant of Mammon) but do the practical thing: listen to INXS.
I'm sure this has been done its fair share of times but I'd like to hear the opinions on this from more than just Christians (which is what I've mainly heard). There are lot of people who think events that are happening such as wars in the Middle East and the formation of the European Union are fulfillment of the prophecies in the book of Revelation. These such opinions are ones that I have heard, especially among friends and family during my youth and more recent years. On the other hand, there are those who discredit the book of Revelation entirely, and those who don't discredit the book, but think modern events do not signify the end times. What are your opinions on the book of Revelation/current events (religious affiliation does not matter here)?
Oh, the end times are coming alright! A brightening sun will likely snuff out all life on Earth in around 2.8 billion years

Have you not read that stuff was already supposed to take place. Read 1:1,3 - it was to shortly take place and the time was near. Could not be any clearer.
