Here's a curious question; If god's existence were to be proven, or disproved, tomorrow, would you bet a large sum of money today on the outcome? I overheard the question posed to someone the other day. It kind of comes down to; how much faith does a person put in his faith; his life savings, for example?
Before I bet any money I would want to know how the proving or disproving was to be done.
Isn't it the theory of theists that everyone is already betting the nature of their eternal existence on that question with those wagering on god poised to reap perpetual rewards and those betting against god facing unending torments?
If you are willing to gamble on that, what is money?

I'd bet everything that no eternal supernatural being/s have ever existed.
